  • nice sculpted layout and
  • awaiting you on this vast expansive course are sweeping and contoured fairways,
  • an incredible 130 cavernous bunkers that are head-high,
  • unforgiving rough and
  • immaculate greens that are undulating, as well as being nice and fast.

It is an excellent course with many challenges, all of the holes are good and the par threes are particularly memorable, tough, long and well bunkered. If there are any winds they will present a challenge.

Accuracy is the key to establish a good score, as long grass awaits any shots that are not on the fairways, you need to stay away from the bunkers otherwise you will be penalised. The long walk throughout this 18 hole course provides striking views of the surrounding countryside and the River Rye, you will definitely deserve a Guinness after finishing this notable course. Undoubtedly one of the finest courses in the East of Ireland and offers a proper test of your golfing skills.
