It blends seamlessly into the local landscape of rolling grassy dunes, it has a superb layout and an extraordinary variety of holes. It is a challenging course not least because of the substantial elevations from green to tee but, also the greens are generally small, as well as having lots of grass and pot bunkers. Our Favourite Hole

Tom Watson made the statement that the 11th hole had to be one of the toughest holes in the world and for that very reason it has to be our favourite. We endorse this statement fully, it is certainly one of the best par four's you will ever play. The hole is along the ocean and you are against the prevailing wind that blows from the sea, you will need to aim your tee shot down the boundary line to stay in the game.
